Big Threats. Deceived Minds.

I’m sure you all heard of the Nashville shooting last Monday. I have some thoughts I’d like to share. I won’t try to dig into the motive; however, I will show the devastation this event has helped our country spiral into. Let’s begin.

On Monday, March 27, 2023, female Audrey Hale entered an elementary school she had attended as a child with a plan she had made and one she executed. Her victims were 9-year-old children and faculty members there at the school. Before acting out her plan, she had several art pieces drawn.

Drawn with murder spelled backward, this art piece of Hale’s has several fascinating statements. Two of these are “all work and no play made jack a dull boy” and “some places are like people, some shine and some don’t”. While the picture she drew alone can be disturbing, I am not here to critique her art interests. Instead, my plan is to go deeper, to the root.

Several pieces of Audrey’s art were displayed on her Instagram and website. Her Instagram was wiped (hmmm) and I’m unable to view her website as I do not have a subscription. However, here is one illustration that several news articles publicly share (right). This one I find even more intriguing as it shows some trauma she experienced during or after childhood. I am no psychologist, but that’s how it appears. When I refer to the trauma, I do not mean the event where her parents did not accept her decision to become confused. I mean something far deeper…

Our nation is being plagued by mental disorders. Yes, it’s a disorder. I find it interesting that all this push is on the younger generations. Why? Because they are the most vulnerable, and their minds are easily molded. Hitler said, “He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future.” Who owns our youth? The state-run school systems that are owned by the government. God is calling us to let the little children come to him. Instead, we are sending them to these places of indoctrination. One song that hits the nail about our nation’s well-being is 2+2=5 by the rapper Hi-Rez. (I do not listen to the majority of his songs; however, he has some good points in most.)

Kick the fathers out the house send the mothers back to work
Let the school system parent your children right from the birth
Make them ill feed them pills confuse them about what’s real
Tell them facts don’t really matter, it’s all about how you feel
Science and math are racist, history let’s erase it
Indoctrinate a whole generation, you can’t escape it
It’s bigger than American politics you’re an accomplice
White people are racist and bigots and you’re a colonist

If you want freedom we’ll encourage to do the opposite
It’s toxic masculinity if a man is too confident
Excuse me, what’s a woman, well, I am not a biologist
Common sense is really not common when you’re a communist
Parents that care about their kids let’s call them terrorists
It’s cool to be a feminist and an environmentalist
If you love the country that makes you a white supremacist
Don’t even try to defending it ‘cuz what you say is irrelevant

(You can read all the lyrics here, but let me warn you he does not have a filter and has no problem being blunt.)

We, as a country, have been trying this experiment of indoctrinating in the schools and in public places for a while. I learned from a friend that the military has been subjected to this since at least 2004. It is an accepted and known fact that the military is the government’s guinea pig. I can vouch for this statement’s validity as I am a rocking coast guard child, a proud army sister, and a proud marine and navy granddaughter. (Not to say the government and the military have their problems because, TRUST ME, they do. However, I am grateful that I am surrounded by people who went with the convictions they had at the time to sacrifice themselves for those they love.) Adopted in July 2004, the American Psychological Association was working hard to oppose the current U.S. policy of discrimination against lesbian, gay, and bisexual persons in military service.

Our nation has been slowly weaned into supporting this mental disorder. It is no joke. We are dwindling in power and strength. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy. He is stealing our freedoms and our joy. He is killing our children. He is destroying our future. We, the church, are called to be salt. Not to be salty and bitter but to preserve the good things that remain in this world. It is not our job to fix this world or make it Christian. That is nationalism. Instead, we are called to influence the world. Not to conquer but to convince. But the church has failed.

The church has been silent and compromising. She has wavered and decided to go pick wildflowers plagued by thorns. Before you tune me out, here’s an example. Right now, in Canada, they are organizing drag camps. The target audience is 7-17. The promotion makes it sound like it’s an innocent acting camp. Instead, it is a brain-washing outreach that wants to affect the little children who attend them. Not only that, but the founders of this thing are all Canadian government related. (Check it out. No, there’s nothing bad on the link.)

But that’s Canada. What about America? Thankfully there are some states where families still have a right to say their children should not be subjected to this stuff without their permission. However, that doesn’t stop many states from hosting reading hours and other disgusting things. Even the Washington Post says it’s not a problem. Last year in June, New York State paid $200,000 for drag queens to read to kids at public schools. So not only are we banning classics across the nation, but we are introducing new books that are making children confused. Where is the EKKLESIA, the church? Where is the salt? Satan works through deception. He takes dominion through our thoughts.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Ephesians 6:11-13

We are fighting against spiritual forces. We are to stand. Standing is an action. Where is the Army of God?? Our country is breaking apart from the inside. Satan is using every distraction possible. For example, there was a huge Trans Day of Vengeance scheduled for April Fools Day (ironic) but ended up being canceled for certain reasons. The LGBTQ+ movement hates Christians. What’s so interesting though is that the LGBTQ+ movement says they are all about love, inclusivity, and freedom. It’s a broken twisted freedom. If that sounds like I’m jumping to conclusions or being harsh, then why do they suffer huge depression rates or why are the majority of school shooters suicidal and confused about their gender? People, THIS IS FRIGHTENING! Christians need to get over their obsession with divisions and arguing about little things and become unified. Imagine what a letter from Paul would look like today. How about…

It doesn’t look good. You are falling. You are dying. Strengthen the things that remain or else.

~ my imaginary Pauline letter

Come on America! If we follow Christ, this world will hate us. Do not compromise! Do not look for trouble. Those who hate Christians, hate the truth. They hate Jesus. They hate true love. The kind that convicts and reproves. If you love someone you will point out the truth, not let it go and keep silent. If a robber breaks into your house will you tell your family? Or will you just leave them behind and run away? Exactly. So why should we not tell our nation where they are headed. We are the watchman. We are the salt. If you do not know Jesus, PLEASE contact me. There is a difference between knowing of Him and knowing Him. He brings hope beyond words. He is not a love-all kind of God. He is a good Father who disciplines His children and does not wish for them to be wayward. Please, please come to His arms if you have not already. If you have been adopted and are part of the family, please live up to your calling. Get off the fence and either be on fire by pursuing the All-Consuming fire of God’s presence or stay cold and be an ostrich with your head in the ground. Don’t be in the middle and ruin your testimony by being lukewarm.

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 2:1-7

This can be your story! You were dead, hopeless, numb, lost, suicidal, depressed, and cold. BUT God has quickened, or jumpstarted, your life. You are alive. You have hope. You are filled with unexplainable joy. Please, it is worth your pride. Come to His arms. He wishes all to be saved, but it is your choice. He does not control your decisions.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:9

God is patient. However, death comes to all and we know not when he will come to us. Just like in The Book Thief, death has a heart but he must do his job. Do not ignore the God of Christianity because of the people who claim they hold the faith. You make a decision not based on broken people but on the principles of the faith. God is not defined by the people who follow Him. Christians are messed up and broken. Trust me, I know. I am one and I know how we can be. We can be judgmental and little turds. But that is when we are not aligned with Jesus! Jesus is the Son of God. The Messiah. If you disagree, you will not like my blog. Please! Come to His throne and repent for the things that weigh you down and the things you have done against Him. As for me, I am not an exception. I place people above God. That’s an idolater. I have lied before. That’s a lier. I have hated before and not forgiven those that hurt me. That makes me a murderer in thought and a grudge-holder. I don’t always obey my parents. That’s not even five things and I’ve already told you I am a lying idolater who is disobedient and murders people with my mind. Hear me! We are all sinners. We all have broken the rules! You CANNOT rely on yourself. Don’t make yourself god and suffer from the separation of the true God. Satan wants to drag you down to hell with him. Don’t let him. Our world will hate Christians because darkness hates light.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 1:5

The light wins. Always. Which side will you choose? If you ignore it, you willingly choose death. If you accept, you choose life and an Anchor for when bad times come. I promise it WILL get worse. When it does, I hope you remember this post. God promises that if you seek after Him diligently He will be found. Do not ignore Him. As for my brothers and sisters in Christ, stand up and be who you are called to be. Otherwise, step down and do not make people reject God because of you. We battle not against flesh and blood but against the powers that control minds. Yes, both the Holy Spirit and the devil have an influence on the mind. That is why we are not to believe the lies the devil tells us.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ~ Romans 12:2

We know the difference and the effect of listening to the Holy Spirit by these things:

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. ~ 2 Timothy 1:7

~ Think about it. For if you don’t, someone else will make your mind up for you.
